The story begins in 1947 when Rose Repetto creates her first ballet shoes on the advice of her son ballet dancer Roland Petit, in a tiny Atelier in rue de la Paix,. Since then the ballerina flat built with the technique of “inverted seam” inch by inch has conquered the world. In 2012 the first Italian corner was opened at LaRinascente.
